  1. Hi Jason! I don't know if you remember me, (Linda, used-to-be Lapp) but i wanted you to know we're praying for you, and praising Jesus for sparing your life.
Also praying for your speedy recovery.... my Dad is recovering from a bad head injury after falling off a roof at a construction site, and i know a little of the grit and endurance physical therapy entails.
    May God be with you...

    Jason,
My family and i live in pekin also. Hearing your story has impacted many here at home. You are a hero in the all our eyes. All of us here and the nation are praying for you. I know you have a long road ahead of you but you have a lot of support back here. I can't begin to imagine the pain you have went through but I hope you can find some comfort in the fact that the Babcock family has been reunited in heaven, im sure they are all together looking out for you now. It makes me happy to know we have a town full of people willing to help their friends and neighbors in a time of need and this tragedy has shown us what wonderful people our town does have. you have the support of our whole nation but the most important of all is the support of your comunnity, though we are a small comunnity there is no shortage of support and prayers going out to you and the family of the Babcocks. I hope your recovery is quick and may God bless you in your time of need.

  3. Hey Jason. I just heard about your amazing story. I can't imagine what that must have been like. You did the right thing with getting the Babcock family in your home and saving them from the raw elements of the tornado. We have no idea why some die and some live, but the for sure thing is that we do know that God is in control. you survived and he has a plan for you. Thank you for doing all you could to help out your neighbors. We should all look out for each other such as you did. I hope you heal quickly and get back on your feet. Also, get that arm healed solid because hunting season is not too far off. You are in our prayers. God bless. -Razor Dobbs

  4. I agree with Razor & your neighbors... being a hero isn't about feeling good and being perfect. It is about having a heart and acting when needed. Jason, what you gave that family was some human compassion before our Sovereign took them home. BRAVO! Heal well inside and out friend~ what you demonstrated was pure love, no strings other than the hope of a better outcome.

  7. HI MY DEAR JASON. I THANK GOD FOR YOUR LIFE. HE HAS A PURPOSE FOR YOU IN THIS LIFE OR YOU WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN LEFT BEHIND. YOU PROBABLY KNOW THE BIBLE MORE THAN I DO. BUT IT SAYS NOT TO QUESTION GOD. THAT IS EASIER SAID THAN DONE. I AM PRAYING THAT YOU HAVE A SPEEDY RECOVERY AND THAT YOU PRAY FOR GUIDANCE WHILE YOU ARE THERE. I LOVE YOU AND YOU HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO TOUCH MANY LIVES. SOMETIMES IT TAKES TRAGEDY FOR US TO REALIZE THAT GOD IS STILL IN CONTROL. WE ALWAYS SEEM TO WANT TO DO IT OUR WAY. BUT HE IS GOD. AS FOR THE FAMILY THAT PARRISHED. WE DON'T UNDERSTAND. BUT GOD DOES. FOR WHATEVER REASON. THEY ARE ALL A FAMILY TOGETHER AGAIN. JASON. I LOVE YOU AND WILL KEEP PRAYING FOR YOUR RECOVERY. WE ALL NEED TO GIVE MORE OF OURSELVES TO GOD WHO SUSTAINS US. LOVE YOU BUNCHES. MAMA DEB

  11. Guys, Jason has had his 3rd and final surgery. He is still in a lot of pain, but seems to be recovering nicely. A friend of his brothers flew in from California for the sole purpose of praying for Jason. After he prayed, Jason has had no more pain in his ribs or back! He's been up and walking around a bit since. We are thankful to God, and also our friend. Thanks to you guys for all your prayers and support.
